白板には、

  1.If spring comes, it will get warmer.

  2.With virtual reality, doctors have the opportunity

                                              to improve their skills at any time.

  3.By using virtual reality, doctors have the opportunity

                                              to improve their skills at any time.

  4.but for (if it were not for)  ～が無ければ

  5.but for (if it had not been for) ～が無かったならば　

と、書かれています。さて、ご説明いたします。

 1.If spring comes, it will get warmer.

「春が来れば暖かくなる」if ～は所謂、条件節です。If spring will come, 

としてはいけません。春は必ず来るからです。是を「時と条件を表す副詞節では、

未来は現在形で表す」と教わったのでは・・・

  2.With virtual reality, doctors have the opportunity

                                              to improve their skills at any time.

　「ヴァーチャルリアリティを用いて医師はいつでも彼らの技術を改善できる」

  3.By using virtual reality, doctors have the opportunity

                                              to improve their skills at any time.

 「ヴァーチャルリアリティを用いる事によって

                                                   医師はいつでも彼らの技術を改善できる」

  4.but for (if it were not for)  ～が無ければ

     If it were not for virtual reality, doctors couldn't have

                                the opportunity to improve their skills at any time.

　「ヴァーチャルリアリティが無ければ医師は

　　　　　　　　　彼らの技術を何時でも改善する事は出来ないであろう」

　ヴァーチャルリアリティは実際には在るので「～がないならば」は

　　　非現実の世界のお話なので非現在を表す仮定法過去を用いるのである。

  5.but for (if it had not been for) ～が無かったならば　

 　  If it hadn't been for virtual reality, doctors couldn't have had　

                                the opportunity to improve their skills at any time.

　「ヴァーチャルリアリティが無かったならば

　　　　　医師はいつでも彼らの技術を改善する事は出来なかったであろう」

　　　此処では「非過去のお話」なので仮定法過去完了が用いられています。　

　　　　　　AI 翻訳に頼っていると英語力は消えて行きます

　　　　　思考力が徐々に抜け落ち文章の発想が停まり始めます
